Kaimanu has been building 8 boards for the new Zura Hall at San Diego State University as part of the sustainable surfboard display for the new dormitory. Jess Ponting is the world renown Surf Professor leading the project. The grand opening will be in August, come check it out!
National Geographic Television recently shot the first season of a new reality series featuring Gabriel Kelly in the mountains and backcountry of Central California following him as he survives off the land using Natural Living Skills. Kaimanu built him an agave twin fin to be used as an all around surfboard and watercraft. The show will start this Fall, airing September 30th, look for the board and the ocean adventures in the last part of the season.
